Talk to your doctor: I know that sometimes it"s as hard to gain weight as it is interesting enough for people to lose weight. Several endocrine problems like a thyroid illness can be a cause. Also eating the right kind of foods is in play. See your family physician and let him/her check you out with an exam & blood tests. Then proceed to talk to a dietician.

Dietician: Your best move would be to set up one visit with a registered dietician at your local hospital. The dietician will inform you as to what your ideal weight should be and devise a special and healthy diet for you to follow.

Details are everythi: How tall are you? Are you much smaller than all your family? Do you have normal menstrual periods? How is your nutrition? Have you any symptoms? You may be normal. You may have celiac disease or growth hormone deficiency or early maturation etc, etc., etc. Do you take meds? Ever had a long course of prednisone? If you feel you are not normal, see a DR.
