Cough: there is probably a viral infection on top of strep throat that is making your child wheezing. Keep using the inhaler

No: A phlegmy cough indicates a probable viral infection, which the antibiotic will not affect. He should be seen by his pediatrician, not the ER. That should be reserved for very serious situations only.
