Further Workup: Wheezing can be a sign of obstructive airway disease like asthma if it is persistent. If you notice wheeze with laughing or with exercise you might consider seeing a doctor for breathing tests to determine if you are at risk. Post nasal can make asthma worse if you have it. You may be atopic (asthma, allergies, eczema) which puts you at greater risk for these conditions. Get tested and find out.
