Autistic Spectrum : Disorder causes diminished or absent Theory Of Mind (TOM), face recognition, social communication & social reciprocity. TOM = the ability to understand that others may react to a stimulus differently than oneself or have a different point of view. Social Anxiety or Social Phobia, discomfort around social interaction & fear of being embarrassed & judged by others, has none of the above deficits.
