Easiest way: Easiest way is decrease to 100 mg. x 3 days, 50 mg. x 3 days then discontinue. Unless your liver is severely impaired - this should be fine. However, at this speed ... Be prepared for your sleep to be interrupted a bit. This should diminish within a few days however. Also, I saw in the profile -- be aware that Xanax (alprazolam) is also metabolized through the liver. Hope that helps!
