No coincidences: There are rarely coincidences in medicine. The thigh bone IS connected to the hip bone. While I have no idea what you are talking about, starting with the basic assumption that a constellation of symptoms can be explained with a single diagnosis is standard practice in diagnostics. Also, if it looks like a horse and acts like a horse its probably not a zebra. Common problems occur commonly.
