Anterior thigh pain: The nerves to the thigh are supplied by L1 (groin crease), L2 (mid frontal thigh), and L3 (band right above and including kneecap). If your surgery was a fusion l4-s1 (s4-l1 mistype?) then the adjacent disk above your fusion would absolutely cause this problem if wearing out or herniated. First thought is try nerve root injection, pt mckenzie, nsaid's. Further MRI if symptoms persist.
