How would a doctor diagnose dysautonomia? are they tests completed in the office? can a neuro do this?

Autonomic fxn Tests: There are a battery of tests called AUTONOMIC FUNCTION TESTS and they test almost every major aspect of the autonomic nervous system. I pretty much do it with minimal equipment, clinical examination, followed by a high index of suspicion. If a dx is in doubt that's when I send to let the lab guys play with all their expensive toys...otherwise, we move ahead and treat.... BTW, I'm neuro! LOL.
