Not likely: There is a difference between aspiration pneumonia (lung infection by nasal passage/mouth bacteria) & aspiration pneumonitis (inflammation after inhaling at least 1.5 tbsp stomach acid). Pneumonitis is a fairly severe sudden reaction that includes severe shortness of breath. Bacterial pneumonia can be a complication, but not right away. If not coughing/struggling to breathe, unlikely pneumonitis.
