My 2yr old coughs as though something is stuck in his throat, started like flu but the cough persists until he vomits. worse at night. help he is also burping and seem to be swallowing quite a lot. thought it was flu cough but dont think so now?

Your child needs-: -to see your pediatrician. Be sure you check if child is up to date on all immunizations. Many kids with respiratory distress wheeze & cough until they vomit. This increased intra thoracic & intra abdominal pressure clears any mucus plugs in the chest & they feel better for a while.
