A member asked:

Have had positive opk tests 8 days in a row, then they were negative the past 5 days. pain in lower abdomen during intercourse as well. pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Use test: OPKs stay positive for a while after they turn positive, but that doesn't mean you were ovulating for 8 days in a row. The conversion of a negative test to a positive one is indicative that ovulation will happen soon. At that point you needn't continue to use the OPK until the next cycle. Nothing you have said indicates or refutes the idea of you being pregnant right now.
