Doubtful.: Nearsightedness and farsightedness result from anatomic changes to the eye that develop over time. These changes are not reversible. Surgery doesn't correct these changes but offers a compensation for them in another part of the eye.

It depends what your: refractive error (RE) is & if you're myopic or hyperopic.The eye changes as we age, as does the clear lens & the accommodation muscles/ zonules that controls the focus.The lens gets denser.If you have a very small RE & can live with 20/25-20/30 vision, you may try delay getting glasses & contact lens or use (bifocals) later, all non-surgical. However 20/20 is the best visual acuity to have.
