No cancer: When diarrhea is a sign of cancer of the bowel it is usually due to partial intestinal obstruction secondary to an existing neoplasm. For symptoms to subside can not be the result of an untreated cancer. Rule is that if cancer is not operated on it will grow on you. Allow the intestinal virus to subside over several wks. This has been a common symptom for many.
