If he's been unable: to keep any fluids or meds down for 2 days,he is dehydrated,needs IV fluids and should go to theER for a work up and treatment.Dehydration occurs rapidly with recurrent vomiting and diarrhea.

Mgt/workup: He may have a viral illness and the hives in association. Other possible causes include a reaction to food. I would recommend that he be seen to determine if he needs allergy testing. An anti histamine may be used once to see if he improves. If he has a fever, aches, sore throat a viral illness such as the flu should be considered.
