Probably viral: infection causing your GI (gastrointestinal) symptoms, i.e. burping and irregular bowels. Mucus in stool is normal but not always noticed. A person is more likely to notice mucus in their stool when they are having other symptoms. It is unlikely that the dry cough for &gt;2 months is related to your other problems. Drink plenty of fluids and take it easy. Hope you feel better.
