A member asked:

What are the chances of having smoking related cancer(lung, throat, mouth, etc) by the age of 25? pathologists and oncologists only please

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low: In the absence of family history of early onset cancers, your risk of cancer is low at age 25. However, cancer is not the only risk from smoking and you should quit while you are ahead. Also refrain from alcohol as tobacco and alcohol act synergistically in producing cancer.
