A member asked:

I was on 20mg lexapro (escitalopram) for the last 3 months. i reduced last week to 15mg.i felt really well.today i took my blood pressure and it is high, cud lex caus?

Unlikely: Lexapro (escitalopram) is not considered a cause of high blood pressure. Perhaps lowering the dose may have caused increased depression/anxiety leading to higher blood pressure, but I doubt it. You should monitor your blood pressure with your PCP if it remains high.
