Freak out?: Teenagers "freak out" not school officials. These are professionals who are actually more used to having students in their classes with seizure disorder than you may think. You'd never believe who may be friends with you even and suffer from seizure disorder! It's a common problem in school aged kids. I doubt anybody will "freak out" but if they do- calm them down & be the voice of reason.

Straight talk: I would make an appointment and talk to your professors at a time when you can sit and be comfortable. I would be prepared with information about what type of seizures you have had and how often they occur. Get recommendations from your doctor about what should be done if you have a seizure. Let them know how long a seizure usually lasts and at what point should they seek medical help.

Some advice: Obtain a note from your neurologist explaining in laymen's term the nature of your condition and the fact that treatment is occurring. Discuss directly and openly your situation and advise how the professors are to handle in the best fashion. Your doctor's note can provide suggestions. With this approach, no surprises and will be vastly more comfortable for all.
