I'm having lots of poison in my lower left back 4 weeks after a lumbar puncture. i've had a bulged disk in the past but it was on the right side.

R/O SPINAL TRAUMA: After a lumbar puncture, which may be done to evaluate for meningitis , encephalitis or MS. You may suffer from a severe spinal headache and/or pain at the puncture site. If this is the case you need to call your doctor and it may be remedied by a blood patch. If it was a difficult LP you may have a spinal cord hematoma. Either way you need a full exam blood work and a follow up MRI.
