SIDE EFFECT: DUAC like many acne Meds can cause a chemical dermatitis. First stop it, take Zyrtec an H1 blocker and Zantac (ranitidine) an H2blocker. It may take a few days , also a topical hydrating lotion like lachydrin. And stay well hydrated. Avoid sun exposure and Follow up with your doctor as well.

Time: I suspect you mean Duac. Unfortunately, like all topical medications, skin irritation is always a possibility. You're best bet is to stop using this medication and alert your prescribing physician as to the reaction. It likely isn't anything lifethreatening as long as your are not having any significant swelling, blistering or breathing issues. But avoid using other creams/soaps in the area.

Hydrocortisone: If the irritation is intolerable, try topical hydrocortisone cream for a few days to calm the skin down. This is mostly an irritant reaction .
