Need more info: Thyroid tumors may be asymptomatic, show a lump in the neck and may cause difficulty in voice and swallowing. Thyroid malignancies are not that common and it is likely that there is some other explanation for your weight loss. It would be prudent to have an in-person visit with a doctor.
