The FEES study will determine your swallow ability in terms of abnormalities of the upper structures like back of the throat, tongue, muscles, etc. The other tests are indicating that the esophagus itself seems to be functioning normally. But, if there is a neurologic or muscular impairment of the mouth/throat structures, this could lead to the dysphasia and the treatment would be different.
