Maybe: Some redness around a new wound is ok, but if you have any questions about infection you should have it looked at. Burns are at high risk for infection. You should be applying a topical antibiotic ointment, like neosporin, to help the wound heal and also reduce risk for infection. You should also keep it covered with gauze. If you have any drainage or fever you should definitely see a doctor.
