I fell on my right knee and i got more of a floor burn which produced a sore & skin was torn and it formed a scab now . however around the scab it is red. the fall happened two weeks ago .am i to be concerned with that red around the scab?

No. Redness is common around a healing wound. If the wound is painful, or there is pus oozing out of it, you might have an infection and should see a physician for a proper evaluation. But if it is just red around the scab with no other symptoms, relax and let it heal. Apply an antibiotic ointment if you are worried about the possibility of an infection.
