Rare: Patients with occipital lobe seizures, seizures coming from damage in the back of the brain where the vision center is located, not simple-partial have a higher chance of having amblyopia. Some children who have had subarachnoid hemorrhage, bleeding on the covering of the brain can develop amblyopia and seizures. Again, its rare.
