Skipped cycle: First check a pregnancy test. Even though you had a tubal ligation, there is a failure rate of 1 in 300. If its negative it could be due to a variety of other things such as a cycle you didn't ovulate, thyroid issues and elevated prolactin. Many women will have a skipped cycle at least a couple times during their lives. If it happening frequently please see a gynecologist for a work up.
