A member asked:

I have otitis externa. been using the ear drops for a couple of days now. is it normal to hear myself chewing more in that ear when i eat?

AnotherQuestion?Wow: If you have anything in your ear it will alter the relative acoustics in a way that there is more transmission within your head than from outside, which would mask those inner sounds. Try putting in an earplug (on the good side) and enjoy the show! If that's a big problem for you, go on a liquid diet and take your meals in a subway or near the airport.
