Mandy has had a cold for 8 days now. minor temp in beginning (101.5) but ok now. do we just wait it out?

The average cold : lasts a week. Depending on Mandy's age & language level, if there is resurgence of fever, pain, change in appetite, liquid intake, activity level &/or sleep, seek medical care. If Mandy is non-verbal, seek care if symptoms persist 10-14 days, especially if there is a persistent cough.

Zinc and vitamin C: You can get some vitamin C tabs /caps and take 2000 mg twice a day, plus zinc 25 mg twice a day. This may shorten the course of Mandy's cold.
