Yes it is: You should follow up with the doctor who did the biopsy. Have wound cultured get full blood work check including IgG levels. Also b12 and folic acid deficiency can cause elevated RDW. With low vitamin D you may also have a component of leaky gut syndrome . Discuss with your doctor the Gapsdiet.com if biopsy was done in hospital make sure they check for MRSA
