It's been nearly 2 months since the trapeziectomy on my l- hand. the throbbing pain in my thumb & wrist wakes me up every night. is this normal or should i be calling my doctor to try & get in sooner than march 10th. thank you?

Persisitant pain: and pain at night is a good reason to call your doctor. AS far as "normal" yes it is normal to have pain for many things but after surgery the best place to seek answers is with the surgeon. Even if you cannot get in as soon as you desire, you should be able to speak with the office and get more information. If you do not call, they do not know you have an issue.
