Delayed period: If your pregnancy test is negative periods can be delayed occasionally by stress, or hormones. If this continues see a GYN MD for evaluation.

Usually not serious: The list of things that can cause you to miss periods is pretty long. But its usually not serious. Besides pregnancy, the list includes things like stress, dieting, weight gain or loss, thyroid issues, intense exercise, birth control pills, Depo-Provera injections... Its always a good idea to discuss this with your Gyn who knows your history and can run lab tests. Best wishes!
