Depends reason: CT and scintigraphy all utilize considerable ionizing radiation. It depends on number and frequency of tests.Most important is reason for test. In other words if it necessary to prolong or save life then the radiation is inconsequential. If tests not making difference in quality of life, decision less strategic.Radiation effects in young individuals with potential for growth are greater.
