Gallstones: Pain in that location and after meals likely to be a gallbladder problem: gallstones or a malfunctioning gallbladder. You need an ultrasound and HIDA scan In the meantime stay on a very low fat diet

How often: does the pain come and go. Is it sharp or dull. Gallstones live in that area but so do a lot of other structures and organs.
