Have had discomfort in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen just underneath my ribs not painful just uncomfortable worse when lying down ?

Upper right abd pain: In that region, there are good number of things that can cause discomfort some more frequent than others. Constipation, gas, ulcers, gallbladder problems (stones or infection), liver problems, diaphragm problems, even right lung base problems like pneumonia can present in that area. Since the list is so long, usually it takes a good history and physical to figure out the cause. Best of luck!
