My 6months baby has fever and throat infection. he is on augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) and panadol for two days now but the fever is not getting better. what should i do. pls help?

Can recheck with Dr.: A 6 month baby can have a fever when there is an infection. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin drops are commonly used (for fevers over 100-101 degrees) to lower the fever so the baby will be more comfortable and less fussy. Parents should have a baby rechecked if symptoms are not better after a couple of days, or if symptoms are worse at any time. Strep throat infections feel better after 2-3 days of Augmentin.
