Not heart if sinus : You would need to confirm that the rhythm is sinus when it's up to 180. If so, then possible explanations include apnea, recurring fever, pain, anxiety, anemia( this shouldn't be only at night though), pregnancy? Essentially, sinus tachycardia, which is above 100 is not a primary heart problem rather related to other issues. If it's not sinus then that could be a primary heart rhythm problem
