A member asked:

She's taking birth control and it's causing a bad infection in her cervix which will lead to kidney issues it's been awhile now. can it be reversed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Birth Control: Pills do not cause infection. Other types of birth control such as IUD's have been associated with infections. She needs to be treated with antibiotics . As we donor know what the extent of the disease is an opinion can not be given on reversal of damage
