Hello. i've been using nuvaring (for the first time) for 2 days now and i am on my period. i was wondering if the blood won't accumulate around the ring and cause an infection around the cervix or is that very unlikely ?

Menstrual blood will not accumulate around the Nuvaring, and unless there is introduction of an external source of bacteria or virus, the Nuvaring will not contribute to the instance of a vaginal infection.
