How long does it take for this crackling in my lungs from bronchitis to go away. feeling totally fine except i sound like a cat purring constantly.

You could try guaifenesin 300 mg by mouth and you can take this every 4 hours if needed. This will help break up the mucus/phlegm. Just make sure you are not pregnant while taking this.
