Can be prevented: First, confirm the diagnosis with your doctor. Persistent or recurrent vaginal yeast infection (thrush) sometimes is a sign of an underlying health problem, especially diabetes. You can also discuss preventive treatment with your doctor, such as a single oral dose of fluconazole (DiflucanĀ®) once a week -- or in your case, maybe once a month. It shouldn't affect fertiilty -- no worries there.
