have had ringing in ears a year now. hasn't been noticeable until last few days & ringings been more noticeable. what can i do to help lessen ringing?

Tinnitus: Some medication may cause ringing in the ear. the commonly used aspirin is one of them. go through your medicines with your doctor to alleviate the precipitating cause.

Get hearing checked: In these days of loud concerts and head-phones, hearing loss can occur and sometimes ringing in the ears is the first sign of problems. Get hearing checked, be careful with ear protection, have sinuses checked just in case, and have your regular doctor arrange all of this.
