Chest pain: sounds like a muscular problem, if it persists and gets worse and isn't relieved with Anti Inflammatories , i would get this checked out as soon as possible. See your PCP

Hi, I went to the doctor as my stomach is running and I have a sharp constant stitch pain for around 6-8cm under my rib cage. My doctor says it could be inflation and definitely gastro but he hasnt given anything for the inflammation. Is that right?
Left side by lowest rib tender when pressed on. Also hurts when sneezing or cough and when tightening stomach. I dont cough much. Clear my throat kind of cough. Doesnt hurt accept with those movements. Strained muscle or something more serious?
