Gently: There is no particular risk of infection. You have been placed on an anti biotic eye drop to prevent this. You can clean the lashes if needed with cosmetic eye pads gently rubbed over the lashes or cotton tip applicators. You could in fact wait a couple of days to allow the eye to heal well enough to eliminate any risk.
