With a baby sucking!: To nurse successfully, you generally need two things: plenty of sucking, and plenty of nutrition in the form of food and especially fluids. Milk does not usually come in for about 4-5 days after birth. If you are having trouble, you may appreciate the support of a lactation consultant. Ask your doctor for a referral. Good luck; it get's easier!
