Consult your dentist: it is best to consult a dentist. the tissue can cause food to be caught in between and that will lead to an infection. Your dentist can cut the tissue and remove it. as for the bumps could be allergent or sores. allow 5-7 days for it to subside. but if you are visiting your dentist, he/she will be able to evaluate it too.
