Good question : Actually we use Wellbutrin to treat depression in Parkinson's Disease. As for treating pain, there are other options such as Cymbalta or Effexor (venlafaxine). The best choice is the antidepressant that works for the person suffering from their symptoms. Wellbutrin enhances dopamine and doesn't block it. Parkinson's is due to dopamine depletion.
