Worthless: None of these (except vitamin d) will do anything positive for coronary calcification or any other bodily function. Doctors focus on cholesterol along with many other factors because doing so saves lives. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet -- if you do, you will die sooner than necessary.

There is strong evidence to prove that lowering cholesterol prevents coronary disease. A healthy diet, exercise and quitting smoking also helps. There no good evidence that vitamin or magnesium supplements help. There may be some weak evidence to support rice bran extract and vitamin d.
