Not to worry : For the majority of individuals, this finding produces no ill effects. The cause is unknown but prenatal alcohol exposure may play a role. The association of CSP with disorders such as Schizophrenia, PTSD, and dementia is loose. Hope this helps.

Not an issue: The cavum septum pellucidum is a congenital finding. You were born that way and there are no sequences that I am aware of to be concerned about.

This is: considered a normal anatomic variation. It is incidentally present in up to 15% of the adult population. There are some loose associations with schizophrenia and other disorders, but in the vast majority of people, it is of no clinical significance whatsoever.
