Cough: coughing can cause chest and abdominal pain especially if it is Hard coughing. If someone has a cold then these can accompany it. No worry about cancer if these symptoms appeared acutely and accompanied the cold . I would give it a week and see if they improve when the cold improves . After that , if no improvement then seeking expert help is advised.
