Further studies: X-ray findings of a vertebral fracture don't usually change much , even years after a fracture has healed. Although everyone is different, 5 months after a vertebral fracture you "should" be fairly well recovered". You may want to ask for an MRI looking for other components to your injury that may explain your continued pain, such as a herniated disc.
